In 2017, Margaux Delisle was managing a 40-person distribution team in Sherbrooke. She had been promoted twice in three years but had never received a single hour of formal leadership training. The company sent her to a two-day seminar in Montreal. She sat through 16 hours of PowerPoint slides, flew home and could not name one thing she would do differently on Monday.
That gap between "attending a course" and "actually changing behaviour" became the founding problem of Pinnacle Leadership Co. Margaux partnered with Jean-Sébastien Rioux, an organizational psychologist, to design workshops built around live practice rather than passive listening. Their first pilot ran in a rented community-centre room with nine managers from three local companies.
Seven of those nine reported measurable changes in their team meetings within 60 days. Two said nothing changed. Margaux and Jean-Sébastien interviewed all nine, rewrote the curriculum and ran the pilot again. That cycle of deliver, measure, rewrite has continued every quarter since.
Today the company operates from its office at 452 Schiller Course, J1H 1A1 Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, with a roster of five facilitators and a support team of three. We have delivered over 280 workshops to organizations ranging from 8-person startups to provincial government departments with hundreds of staff.
